Hudson Shiver-Fest
The Hudson Shiver-Fest will run from Friday, January 28 to Sunday, February 6, 2005. The following are the major events.
- Carnival Card Party - Friday, January 28 at the Community Centre, 1- 4 pm
- Pre-teen Dance - Friday, January 28 at the Community Centre, 7 pm
- Quarry Point Open - Saturday, January 29 at Quarry Point, 12 - 4 pm
- Spaghetti Dinner and Comedy Night - Satruday, January 29 at the Community Centre, 8 pm
- Mixed Cash Bonspiel - Saturday, February 5 at the Legion, 9 am - 7 pm
- Old Fashioned Skating Party - Saturday, February 5 at Pine Lake, 2 - 6 pm
- Legion Brunch - Saturday, February 5 at the Legion, 11 am - 1 pm
- Family Curling Open House - Saturday, February 5 at the Legion, 2 - 4 pm
- Snowboarding and Tobogganing - Sunday, February 6 at the Whitlock Golf Club, 1 - 4 pm
Looks like the coming weekend should be a good one for the outdoor events and rumour has it that the Old Fashioned Skating Party will offer more substantial liquid refreshments than just hot chocolate.
