This is one of the Historical Society classic books. First produced in 1975 it is wonderfully illustrated by the great West Island artist George Sherwood who has done a beautiful job of drawing the twenty-nine buildings in the book.
Celia Nelson describes some of the most historical buildings in what is now known as Hudson, Quebec previously known as Cavagnal.
From homes to churches to lumber mills and old general stores, Mrs. Nelson relates how the early pioneers settled in the region and built their homes and businesses into what would eventually become the Town of Hudson.
