Willow Place Inn

Country Inn accomodations, fine dining, pub and summer terrace overlooking the Lake of Two Mountains.

Willow Place Inn is a Hudson institution and was a heritage building until it burned down many years ago. Luckily the owners re-built in the same style so that the Inn still offers its accomodation and dining facilities today. Nine rooms decorated in the Inn's historic style with period antiques make up the Inn while downstairs is a formal dining room and an informal pub, both with picture windows overlooking the Lake of Two Mountains. In the winter fireplaces add warmth to the cozy atmosphere while you can watch snow blowing over the frozen lake. In the summer, the terrace which leads from the Inn down to the lake is populated with tables and sun umbrellas making it an ideal location for a relaxing summer drink.

Across the road, the more recently purchased "Anchorage" offers meeting and conference facilities for small groups and for receptions. There is lots of private parking down beside the Inn and at a parking lot across the road. The Inn is often booked solid so planning ahead for overnight stays is a must. Reservations are recommended for the restaurant but are not accepted for the pub where you can have a drink at the bar while waiting for a table if it is busy.

Willow Place Inn is located at 208 Main Road in the former Village of Como which today forms the eastern part of Hudson. The Willow Place can be reached at (450) 458-7006 and more informayion is available on the Willow Place Inn website at willowplaceinn.com .
