Finnegan's is Hudson's flea market situated in the west end of town in the fields of the Aird's farm. The Aird's started it over 25 years ago and named it after their dog, Finnegan, since it was to be a "flea" market. Since then it has grown to include antiques and many handicrafts and has spread to encompass the whole field beside the Aird's house and barns.
Finnegan's market is open Saturdays from the first Saturday in May to the last Saturday in October. The stalls at Finnegan's open at 9:00 am and close at 4:00 pm. In addition to stall with typical flea market merchandise there are often stalls with higher quality items including antiques, jewelry, plants and flowers, organic vegetables and hot dogs, ice cream and soft drinks are also available. Besides the stalls, there is a barn full of antiques, both restored and reproduction which is open year round by appointment.
